Q1: What's the difference between Pre-Galvanized and Hot Dip Galvanized?
A1: Pre-galvanized (electro-galvanized) is applied at the factory before fabrication, with thinner zinc coating (40–60 g/m²); hot dip galvanized involves dipping finished pipe into molten zinc (65–85 μm coating), offering superior outdoor corrosion resistance. Pre-galvanized is more cost-effective for indoor use.
Q2: Can Pre-Galvanized Pipe be used for water supply?
A2: Yes, for low-pressure cold water lines indoors. For high-pressure or outdoor underground use, we recommend Sch40 hot dip galvanized pipe.
Q3: Do you provide samples?
A3: Yes, free samples available; freight on buyer's account, refundable upon bulk order.
Q4: Is third-party inspection supported?
A4: Yes, SGS / BV / TUV / Intertek inspections are welcomed at our mill before shipment.
