How to distinguish pipe and tube？
Here following gives some tips：
1,Pipes are always round, but tubes can be square, rectangular or round
2,PIPES are used to transfer liquid or gas, constructed to withstand high pressures, The tubes are used to conduct heat.
3,It is PIPE that complies with ASME B36.10 B36.19. But TUBE doesn’t. The 1 inch PIPE has an outer diameter of 33.4mm. The 1-inch TUBE however has an outer diameter of 25.4mm.The 2 inch PIPE has an outer diameter of 60.3mm. The 2-inch TUBE has an outer diameter of 50.8mm.
