Steel Packaging

Steels are usually packaged in accordance with national standards and the requirements of the order contract. Generally, the contents of the package are as follows (except for special requirements in the contract):


1) Section steel with diameter or thickness less than 30mm and thin plate with thickness less than 4mm should be delivered in bundles. Each bundle should have the same batch number, and each bundle must have at least two signs. The signs should indicate a series of information such as the name of the manufacturer, steel number, furnace (tank) number, and specifications.


2) Steels with a diameter or thickness equal to or greater than 30mm can be delivered in bundles or not. For bundles of steel, at least two signs must be hung on each bundle, and the steel stamp does not need to be stamped. For bundles of steel without signs, the top steel or steel plate of each bundle should be stamped or marked. Steels not supplied in bundles must be stamped on each steel or steel plate.


3) After the steel is packaged (or not supplied in bundles), it must be painted in accordance with relevant standards.


4) For steel delivered in bundles, each bundle should be tied firmly with iron wires in no less than two places.


5) The weight of each bundle shall not exceed 80kg for manual loading and unloading, and 5t for mechanical loading and unloading. With the consent of the demander, manual loading and unloading may also not exceed 130kg per bundle, and mechanical loading and unloading may per bundle No more than 10t.
