As of 12 o'clock on August 31, India has a total of 3619169 confirmed cases; of the confirmed cases, a total of 2772928 were cured and discharged, with a cure rate of 76.62%; a total of 64617 deaths and a mortality rate of 1.79%.
India added more than 70,000 new cases in a single day, and the total number of confirmed cases currently exceeds 3.61 million, ranking third in the world; second only to the United States (6173236 cases) and Brazil (3862311 cases).
India further unblocks city subway to resume operation on September 7
In major cities in India, except for some areas under strict control of the epidemic, the lockdown will continue until September 30, and other areas have basically been liberalized. The city subway will start operation from September 7; various outdoor activities and religious gatherings can be organized after September 21, but the number of people must be limited to 100 people; outdoor performances are also allowed after September 21.
Maintaining social distancing and wearing masks are mandatory requirements put forward by the Indian government. The scope of this unblocking does not include universities, middle schools and primary schools, and the school will be closed until September 30.
