The steel market focuses on global carbon neutrality, and the development trend of low-carbon economy is no longer reversible. China's leading Taiwanese company Sinosteel has rarely announced that it will impose a "carbon surcharge" for export of steel products from next year, becoming the first in Asia. Sinosteel Chairman Weng Chaodong also confirmed that the company is actively discussing the issue of carbon surcharges.
